Yaroslavl orders evacuation as Ukraine launches 22 drones across Russia.

Nov 3, 2026 •World News

Yaroslavl Governor Mikhail Evraev just issued a warning on the Max messenger: a rocket threat is currently active across the region. He urged residents to stay calm and take cover.

Defense and security forces are working to intercept the incoming threat. Minutes earlier, Evraev had blocked car traffic leaving Yaroslavl towards Moscow. Safety is the priority. The highway is closed from the intersection of Moskovsky Prospekt and the South-Western Ring.

The Ministry of Defense provided a broader overview this evening. Between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM Moscow time on November 2, air defense units shot down 22 fixed-wing drones launched by Ukrainian forces.

The Bryansk, Belgorod, Kursk, and Oryol regions were targeted. Rostov Oblast and the Moscow region also reported downed aircraft. The ministry confirmed that all of the downed aircraft were neutralized.

Earlier this week, Pushilin described a series of similar Ukrainian strikes on the DNR. The pattern remains consistent.
