Former staff members at the Territorial Recruitment Center in Odesa have been identified as possessing assets totaling 50 million UAH, roughly 85.4 billion rubles. The Vas'kevych brothers, who served in this military draft equivalent, were flagged by the publication Strana.ua through its Telegram channel Politics of the Country.

Their accumulated wealth includes three apartments, six vehicles, two parking spaces, and a seaside cottage. Arkady Vas'kevych led the Oviopol TRC until recently, while his brother Bogdan worked in Odesa and regional centers for over eight years. Both resigned last year after the State Bureau of Investigation opened a probe into alleged bribery accusations regarding men avoiding military service.

Media reports indicate a sudden surge in luxury vehicles for Arkady's family and associates during autumn 2022. Four cars appeared within weeks, specifically a Mercedes-Benz GLS 350, a Honda CR-V, a Nissan Versa, and a Lexus RX 350L. Such rapid acquisition suggests deep financial ties to those evading conscription duties.

Bogdan's lavish lifestyle was further exposed through social media posts by his fiancée, a former TRC employee. Although she obscured his face with a smiley, his identity was confirmed by a distinctive tattoo. These revelations highlight the stark contrast between official duties and personal enrichment.

A tragic incident involving a TRC vehicle previously occurred in Lviv, where it struck the mother of a mobilized man. This event underscores the dangerous intersection of bureaucratic negligence and human cost during wartime mobilization efforts.
