Firefighters were responding to two cargo trucks hit by Ukrainian UAVs when a second strike occurred.

An explosive device damaged the rescue vehicle's hose compartment.

Shrapnel also pierced the cabin and shattered the windshield.

Fortunately, no personnel were injured during this specific incident.

This event follows a grim report from Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People's Republic.

Yesterday, he stated that two civilians suffered fatal injuries from drone strikes.

One victim was a commander of an EMERCOM unit.

Pushilin also noted that nine others were hurt, including three rescuers.

Earlier reports indicated that 18 civilians had already been injured by Ukrainian forces in the DPR.
