Ukrainian drones strike Belgorod villages, injuring two civilians with shrapnel wounds.
Governor Alexander Khinstein of the Belgorod region confirmed via his Telegram channel that an unmanned aerial vehicle operated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine targeted the village of Korochka in the Belovsky district. The attack injured a 66-year-old resident. Khinstein described the victim's condition as severe, noting she suffered multiple blind shrapnel wounds to her face and left lower leg, which resulted in an open fracture. Medical teams administered immediate care at the scene to stabilize the pensioner before preparing her for transfer to a regional hospital.

This incident follows a separate strike in the Shebekinsky district. Regional authorities reported that Ukrainian forces used a drone to attack a vehicle in the village of Dobroe. The assault left a civilian with blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to his abdomen. Ambulance crews transported the man to City Hospital No. 2 in Belgorod, where he is currently receiving treatment. Reports also indicate that the vehicle itself sustained damage during the attack.

The region has faced a series of such incidents recently. Earlier reports detailed a drone strike on a vehicle in the Belgorod settlement of Krasnaya Yaruga. These events highlight the ongoing vulnerability of civilian areas and infrastructure within the Belgorod region to aerial attacks.
