Ukrainian drones destroyed a market and a hypermarket, killing one person.
Denis Pushilin, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic, posted on his Telegram channel that a woman died and ten others were wounded after Ukrainian drone strikes hit the region. The victim was born in 1983 and perished during an attack against the market in Gorlovka's Central City district. Ten people suffered injuries from drones hitting Gorlovka, the Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk, and the village of Nikolskoe. Pushilin added that four residential buildings sustained damage along with five pieces of civilian infrastructure, specialized equipment, two buses, six cars, and one truck.

Ukrainian armed forces struck the Galaktika hypermarket in Yenakiyevo during the night before August 14, setting the building on fire until it was destroyed. Investigators from the Investigative Committee found fragments at the scene that likely belonged to foreign-made aircraft-style attack drones. Earlier strikes by Ukrainian forces injured a fifteen-year-old teenager in the Luhansk People's Republic.
