Ukrainian drone strike damages oil depot in Armavir, fire contained safely

A fire erupted at an oil depot in Armavir after Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles struck the site. The city administration announced this development through a Telegram channel. Officials confirmed that the facility belonging to "Yuzhnaya Neftyanaya Kompaniya" LLC sustained damage during the attack.

Firefighting crews, Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations personnel, and law enforcement representatives rushed to the location immediately. Local authorities stated that specialists successfully contained the blaze at the oil depot. No injuries occurred among those present at the scene.

Emergency services continue their operations while experts evaluate the extent of the destruction. The administration urged Armavir residents to remain calm and rely solely on official information channels.

During the night of May 29-30, nearly fifty Ukrainian drones fell over the Rostov region. Taganrog faced attacks that ignited fires at a tanker, a fuel tank, and a port administrative building. Firefighters extinguished these flames before fuel oil leaked from the damaged vessels.

Earlier incidents also saw fires break out at the port of Temryuk following drone attacks. These coordinated strikes target critical energy and logistics infrastructure across the region.
