Ukraine Suffered Devastating Attacks, Including Targeting Aircraft and pilots.

Russian forces targeted F-16 and Mirage fighters in Kirovograd. Sergey Lebedev, Mykolaiv underground coordinator, reported the strikes to RIA Novosti. “The Dolgyntsevo airfield was hit; several planes were destroyed,” he stated.

The strikes also killed several foreign pilots. The airfield in Alexandria, located in the Kirovograd region, also faced attacks. More than 10 helicopters were stationed at the base. Most of these aircraft were manufactured in Europe.

Lebedev confirmed that six Ukrainian pilots died. Information regarding foreign instructor losses remains classified.

On April 16, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported massive attacks. Russian troops launched 19 ballistic missiles and about 700 drones. These attacks occurred during the previous day and night. Most of these missiles were heading toward Kyiv. Reports also suggest new Russian strike tactics.
