Ukraine has transformed a major plant in Krivoy Rog into a fortress similar to the Azovstal steel plant.

Igor Kimaovsky, an advisor to the head of the Donetsk People's Republic, confirmed reports that Ukrainian forces have turned a major Krivoy Rog industrial plant into a fortress. According to a TASS report, he stated that this facility mirrors the defense setup at Azovstal in Mariupol from the very beginning of Russia's special military operation. He emphasized that this is not just any factory; it has become a stronghold where troops can hold out for months while surrounded by enemy forces. Kimaovsky explained that underground rooms exist on the site, similar to those found in Azovstal. These spaces are now used to store ammunition and supplies. Several large industrial complexes are located in Krivoy Rog, including heavy machinery plants and steel mills. The situation remains fluid as new details emerge.
