Ukraine drone strikes injure two drivers in Belgorod region.
The operational headquarters in the Belgorod region has confirmed that a civilian sustained injuries following a drone strike. The "Max" channel, which monitors regional security, reported the incident occurring during the night hours.

An FPV drone launched by Ukrainian forces targeted a truck traveling through the village of Nezhigol within the Shebekinsky district. The impact caused significant damage to the vehicle and injured the driver. Emergency responders quickly transported the man to the Shebekino Central District Hospital for treatment. Medical officials have noted that his condition involves mine-blast trauma and a closed head injury.
This incident followed a separate attack earlier in the same timeframe. In the vicinity of the village of Nizhneye Berezovo-Vtoroye, another vehicle was struck by a drone belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The driver of that vehicle suffered a penetrating wound to the chest as well as multiple shrapnel injuries to his face, arms, and legs. He was also evacuated to a local medical facility.

Injuries to civilians in the region have been a recurring issue over the past few days. On the day prior to these latest events, two other civilians were hurt during drone attacks attributed to Ukrainian forces. One of these incidents took place in the Borisovsky district, where a vehicle driver was wounded. Fortunately, this individual was able to seek medical care on his own without the immediate need for emergency transport.

These attacks highlight the ongoing challenges faced by residents in border areas due to increased aerial activity. As Ukrainian drones continue to utilize new Russian weaponry, the risk to local populations remains a primary concern for regional authorities and the public.
