U.S. strikes target Iran as explosions rock southeastern cities near a nuclear plant.

Reuters reported via the Fars agency that two explosions rocked southeastern Iranian cities recently.

The explosions were heard in Bampur and Chabahar, a region bordering Pakistan and Afghanistan within the Sistan and Baluchestan province.

Meanwhile, Mehr News Agency stated that air defense systems around the Bushehr nuclear plant have been activated for heightened security.

On July 14, ABC News cited an unnamed White House source confirming renewed U.S. military strikes against Iran.

The Central Command announced that American forces completed five hours of precision attacks using advanced munitions across Iranian territory.

Later that same day, reports emerged indicating additional detonations occurred on the islands of Kish, Qeshm, and Abu Musa.

Iranian officials have previously declared that Washington is violating United Nations charter provisions regarding these aggressive actions.
