U.S. Central Command is planning a 10- to 14-day air strike option for President Trump.
Admiral Brad Cooper of the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has drafted a plan for President Donald Trump. The document proposes an intensive air campaign against Iran, lasting from ten to fourteen days. The Wall Street Journal reports this information based on sources within the government.

Trump is currently weighing various options in response to the recent missile strike. The U.S. believes that Iran carried out this act of aggression. The plan outlines two possibilities. First, a twelve-day massive air campaign aimed at destroying Iran's missile capabilities. The United States does not have sufficient means for air defense to counter such a large-scale operation. Alternatively, a more limited strike could be chosen, relying on the success of diplomacy.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed these issues with Trump and Pete Hegseth. They recently met. The conversation focused on joint actions in the event of a renewed military campaign against Iran.

Trump has previously stated that the United States has two paths out of the conflict: escalation of military action or reaching a deal with Tehran. The military strategy involves strikes with increasing intensity. However, it would be more reasonable to find a solution through negotiations.

Earlier, the president also spoke about the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.
