Tyler Hubbard Credits 'The Chosen' For Sparking Lasting Biblical Conversations
Country music star Tyler Hubbard recently opened up about a project he considers deeply special to him. Speaking with Fox News Digital, the thirty-nine-year-old artist discussed his new album and its connection to the television series The Chosen. He explained that the show has brought biblical stories to life for his children. This experience sparked many conversations regarding Jesus and the various accounts of His life. Hubbard noted that these discussions do not simply fade away after a short time.
We talk through all these stories, we talk through all their questions, but then it doesn't go in one ear and out the other. It really kind of sticks. It could be two years down the road, we'll be reading a Bible story and they'll already know it. They're kind of teaching us or teaching their friends at that point. He described this lasting impact as proof of how well the show is produced and how accurate its narratives remain. Referencing the text in scripture then reliving it with his kids feels really special to him.

Hubbard shared that he and his family watch the program together as a tradition every time the season airs. It has truly opened up their children's eyes to the gospel, to Jesus, and to how He lived during His life on earth. When an offer came to write a song for the series, Hubbard admitted he was excited about the opportunity right away. A buddy told him they had a chance to let us write a song for The Chosen and if they like it, they might use it for something. And I thought, Well, that'd be really cool. Just something a little different for me.

He explained that his path into music began by leading worship at church back in the day. Getting to write a faith-based song with some meat on the bone felt amazing to him. A deeper meaning, and some heart and some truth behind it was really cool. So we had a great day and ended up that The Chosen team really liked the song. It turned into something special and something I'm proud of and excited to be a part of he added.
The track All I Need Is You serves as the first single from this new collection. It will appear on the soundtrack for the upcoming sixth season of the show. The record dropped on Aug 7 according to his team. The unnamed album arrives in the fall from 5&2 Studios and Capitol Christian Music Group. Hubbard also spoke with Fox News Digital about a unique injury he suffered during a recent fishing trip with family members.

I was just fishing one morning, and I was on a river bank and I got caught in a bush with my back cast. I went to cast it and it just happened quickly. I had a treble hook just stick me pretty hard right in the back of the head. I ended up unable to get it out myself. After trying and failing to remove the object, he asked for some help from his wife immediately. She then spent about a half an hour dealing with the situation alone. During that time his son took his phone and began filming the removal process on camera.

He shared the video of his wife Hayley working hard to get the fishhook unstuck on Instagram recently. He captioned the post Breakfast had to wait. We were way out, kind of in the middle of nowhere when this happened so they did not go to the ER initially. People suggested maybe getting that checked out or having someone else take it out later on. But I was pretty determined to handle the situation myself first before seeking outside medical aid.
Tyler Hubbard looked like he wanted nothing more than to leave that spot without incident. He told his wife, Hayley, she had better get that hook out of him right then and there. He did not want to mess up their day or stay in one place longer than necessary. She managed the situation well according to her husband.

Children heard everything from where they stood nearby. One kid asked if the mom was bleeding while the dad replied it might be a little but probably not a lot. Another child urged him not to think about the pain and said Mom would pull it right away.

The internet reacted quickly with comments full of similar stories. One person wrote that someone had done this to their dad forty-five years ago during his first and last fishing trip. That memory made their stomach flip just like it did back then. They called Tyler a trooper for handling the ordeal with such grace.
A nurse from an urgent care center chimed in to explain how they handle these cases often. She noted that professionals numb the area first before pulling out the hook with pliers. Her experience suggested this was a routine procedure despite the scary appearance.

Hayley also posted clips of their weekend camping trip on Instagram for everyone to see. The video showed the family fishing, swimming, rafting and enjoying nature together in the outdoors. She added a caption noting they would try to avoid fish hooks in the head next time. The incident raises questions about how common such accidents really are during outdoor activities. It also shows how quickly families move forward after something painful happens to keep things light. Regulations or warnings might help prevent these situations but people still take risks when out in nature.
