Trump To Interview Former Fixer Michael Cohen On Radio

Aug 26, 2026 •Politics

Donald Trump plans an audacious move by interviewing one of his most bitter political enemies on Michael Cohen's radio show. A White House official confirmed this arrangement to MS NOW, stating the President will appear on a program hosted by his former lawyer and fixer. The interview is set for Wednesday with an airing scheduled for Thursday.

Cohen verified the details via social media on Wednesday. He noted that additional segments would broadcast Sunday on 77WABC radio. This booking marks a sharp reversal in their volatile relationship since 2018. Cohen acted as Trump's personal attorney and problem solver for more than a decade before things fell apart. Federal agents raided Cohen's home and office to end the close partnership.

Months later, the former lawyer pleaded guilty to tax offenses and campaign-finance violations linked to hush-money payments. Those payments arranged at the president's direction aimed to quash stories about an alleged extramarital affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels. In court, Cohen admitted he acted at Trump's behest. The President soon turned on him, calling him a sleazebag, a rat, and a liar.

Before their fallout, Cohen served as a longtime lawyer for the Republican leader. He later lobbed personal attacks during congressional testimony, media appearances, and a tell-all book. His testimony regarding hush money payments helped District Attorney Alvin Bragg secure a conviction against Trump on 34 counts of falsifying business records in New York. The former attorney also appeared in civil fraud cases recounting how the president inflated asset values to secure better loans.

Those court appearances sealed Cohen's transformation from fixer to foe. However, by 2025, the two began reconciling. Cohen met with Trump at his Bedminster, New Jersey, resort to smooth over past political combat. Since that meeting, Cohen stated he now shares a cordial and growing relationship with his former employer.

The upcoming podcast appearance solidifies this apparent detente. It is unclear whether the conversation will revisit past feuds or focus on reconciliation. What stands clear is that the scheduled segment signals a dramatic shift from devotion to denunciation. This development suggests the possibility of a working peace between them. The White House did not immediately respond to the Daily Mail's request for comment.
