Trump Praised Kudlow Before Abrupt Call Hang-Up

Larry Kudlow had to abruptly end his call with Donald Trump after nearly half an hour of conversation. The Fox News anchor told the President he needed to let him go before warning that staying on would get him into trouble. Trump did not hang up immediately. Instead, he praised the host and claimed they were running the hottest show anywhere in the world. Kudlow responded with a nervous laugh, noting their good ratings meant no one would bother them. He wished Trump safe travels and told him to give hell on the campaign trail. Trump insisted he was proud of Kudlow before finally hanging up. Afterward, Kudlow chuckled and reminded viewers they were old friends who loved talking to each other. Earlier in the segment, Trump admitted working very hard with fourteen rallies in just nine days. That grueling schedule likely explains why his voice sounded so raspy during the interview. This is a breaking news story and will be updated.
