Trump Polls Fans to Rename AI as 'Superior' or 'Supreme
Donald Trump is calling on his supporters to invent a fresh name for artificial intelligence while he pushes harder than ever for this technology despite widespread fears about its dangers.
This push follows a long post on Truth Social where the President compared worries over data center pollution to climate change and touched on other heated topics.
He then posted a poll with three choices: Superior Intelligence, Extreme Intelligence, or Supreme Intelligence.
'Many people think that the words 'Artificial Intelligence' are inaccurate, and very ineloquent, relative to AI,' Trump wrote in his message.

The President called these new options 'a far more elegant and accurate description of this new phenomena.'
He also labeled the growth of AI as an ever growing "Revolution" before asking fans to vote on the change.
By late Saturday night, Superior Intelligence was leading with 41 percent of the over 50,000 online ballots cast. Extreme Intelligence took 38 percent and Supreme Intelligence got 21 percent.

Trump has turned into a top defender of AI after backlash from a whistleblower claiming the tech could wipe out humanity soon.
The President also announced an 'AI Force' to watch over this new field, trying to rebrand attacks on data centers as a 'Democrat hoax.'
'We will not in any way hinder or stifle the Growth of this incredible Industry,' Trump said. 'Rather, we will cherish it, help it, and watch over it, as it grows!'
He added that they would also hunt for BAD using their existing Criminal and Civil Justice System.

The President promised to name an 'AI Czar' to keep tabs on development but gave few details on how the AI Force would work. He likened it to the Space Force launched in 2019 as the sixth branch of the US military. It remains unclear if the AI Force will also sit under the Department of Defense.
Trump ended his post by urging only 'high IQ' individuals to apply for the czar job and calling AI the 'next Industrial Revolution.'
'We are leading China, and the rest of the world, and I intend to keep it that way!' he declared.
A meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping is scheduled for next week where US officials say the two leaders will talk about AI. Both nations view AI as key to their economic strength and are racing to dominate the field.

This strong stance comes just a day after CNN reported an intelligence report made with AI falsely flagged material on a Chinese ship in the Middle East.
Multiple sources told the outlet that a US special operations analyst used an AI chatbot to check the ship's manifest. The tool incorrectly concluded the vessel was shipping parts for a nuclear weapons program. Almost immediately, military planners started drafting plans to intercept the Chinese ship.
Planes took off while troops got ready for battle. Then, right before launch, officials stopped and rechecked their intelligence files. They discovered the report relied on artificial intelligence that had completely misidentified what cargo lay inside the ship. One source called that AI analysis entirely false. He added it almost started a war with China because attacking the vessel could have sparked a massive conflict between two superpowers.

Donald Trump insisted his new AI Force will help America build this industry faster than Beijing can manage. He and President Xi Jinping are scheduled to meet next week to discuss artificial intelligence. The push to develop these tools has pushed stock prices higher through data center construction, yet the criticism of the sector keeps growing.
Former workers at major tech firms have now raised alarms about the true dangers hidden in this technology. Jacob Coxon, a researcher who used to work for Anthropic, explained his resignation online by accusing both his company and OpenAI of racing straight toward self-improving superintelligence while gambling with our lives. That story quickly caught fire across social media platforms.
Anthropics CEO Dario Amodei responded by saying the firm needed to slow down immediately. He warned that strict safeguards are necessary to stop AI agents from taking over the internet within the next year. Construction crews have plowed through rural neighborhoods all over the country to build these massive facilities that store and process digital data.
Supporters argue these centers advance technology and provide jobs for local communities. Critics point out the heavy environmental cost of such projects. The Daily Mail has reached out to the White House seeking comment and more details on this unfolding situation.
