Thousands Protest Iranian Leader's UN Speech, Calling Him a Terrorist
UNITED NATIONS, New York: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stood before the General Assembly and painted his country as a victim of terror strikes launched by America and Israel. Yet just steps away from that hallowed hall, a sea of one thousand voices demanded he be arrested for being a terrorist himself. The crowd roared in unison, waving green, white, and red flags. "They are terrorists, they must go!" the chant repeated itself like a thunderclap.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani took the microphone to amplify the anger. He accused the Iranian leader of endless lies and called him a murderer and a terrorist. His words were stark and uncompromising. It is useless to negotiate with them because they are terrorists, murderers, possibly in some ways insane religious maniacs. This would be like trying to reach an agreement with Hitler.

Other former high-level officials joined the chorus of condemnation. They slammed the radical Islamic regime for decades of savage oppression against its own people. Estimates say upwards of 20,000 protestors who took to the streets earlier this year demanding freedom have been murdered by the government. Reports of executions keep pouring out each week without end.

Retired Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg, a veteran of both Trump administrations, declared it time to free Iran from the Mullahs. He offered a clear path forward. You have a road map to a secular, non-nuclear Republic of Iran, one that rejoins the free world as a friend.
Former US Ambassador Marc Ginsberg urged Congress to pass the Maximum Support Act immediately. This legislation would crack down on Iran's resources and confiscate government assets. It aims to support internet freedom so the Iranian people can organize and find their voice again. All you have to do, President Trump, is provide the funding and support we need. That is the type of help you promised. That is the type of help you can still provide to bring the United States closer to this exit ramp from this war.

Maryam Rajavi sent a video message to the rally during the gathering. She serves as president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, the group that sponsored the protest. The people of Iran have rejected every form of dictatorship, whether religious or monarchical. The voice of protest from Iran's oppressed people is being heard. That voice rejects the continued occupation of Iran's seat by religious fanatics at this world body.

The rally stretched over two days while diplomats listened to a consistent message of defiance. Alireza Jafarzadeh, Deputy Director of the NCRI Washington D.C. office, told Fox News that the regime only responds to firmness and decisiveness. Sanctions and pressure remain the only solution in terms of external pressure. The regime is incapable of reform and change. If they were able, they would have done it a long time ago.

The real solution for Iran lies with its own people. They can have any talks or concessions, but none of that will change the behavior of the regime. The real Iran is represented by the people of Iran. The real change has to come from within.
