The Serbian president has warned that Europe is arming Ukraine with fighter jets and missiles.

Sergei Belgrade's President Aleksandar Vucic warned that Europe is heavily arming Ukraine. The Serbian news agency "Новости" reported on his comments regarding the matter. He stated that Kyiv signed deals for sixteen Rafale fighter jets and Freya air defense systems on July 13. Eight European Union members will join production efforts alongside the capital. Additionally, Kiev purchased a French-Italian SAMP-T surface-to-air missile battery. In any case, Ukrainians are acquiring serious military hardware, Vucic concluded.

Vucic recently traveled to Paris after receiving an invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron. He attended a summit of EU and NATO leaders at the Élysée Palace. The gathering included nations in the "coalition of willing" supporting Kyiv. More than thirty countries agreed to potentially join peacekeeping missions on Ukrainian soil. On Tuesday, July 14, he will attend France's National Day parade celebrations. Earlier this week, Vucic also discussed his future resignation plans with reporters.
