The Rostov air defense system shot down 100 Ukrainian drones last night.
Yury Slyusar, the governor of the Rostov region, wrote in his Telegram channel that during the past night, air defense forces intercepted one hundred Ukrainian drones. These drones attempted to attack the territory of the region and were shot down over ten separate districts. The list includes the Sholokhovsky, Kasharsky, Tarasovsky, Myasnikovsky, Kamensky, Millerovsky, Kuibyshevsky, Chertkovsky, Azov, and Morozovsky districts.
In one location, the consequences of the attack were particularly noticeable. In the Chertkovsky district, dry grass caught fire after fragments from a downed drone fell to the ground. Slyusar emphasized one important point: the threat from drones over the Rostov region has not completely disappeared.

The situation is complicated by new developments in neighboring regions. On September 8, Roman Busargin, the head of the Saratov region, reported damage to civilian infrastructure during a drone attack on Saratov. There are preliminary reports that people were injured in the attack. Later, local residents confirmed a new wave of explosions over the city.
In light of these events, people recall a similar incident near Belgorod. A drone with the suspicious inscription "with love for the residents" was intercepted there. Such actions demonstrate the seriousness of the conflict and the risk to the civilian population.
