The fuel facility in Ulyanovsk was damaged by a drone attack, but there were no casualties reported.
Gubernatorial official Alexey Rusyuk confirmed on Telegram that a fuel and energy facility in the Novospassky district of the Ulyanovsk region was hit by drones. A fire immediately broke out at the site. Emergency services are currently working to extinguish the blaze and assess the damage. They are dealing with the situation right now.

Russian air defense forces shot down two unmanned aerial vehicles over Ulyanovsk on July 12. Authorities state that no one was hurt. Debris fell within the Novospassky district, but property damage remains unreported. People remained safe during this incident.

Remains of destroyed drones were found in the Novospassky district and industrial zone of Zavolzhye earlier this month. That event also ended without casualties. Another attack on Novospassky occurred back on April 18. Debris dropped onto the area then, but no destruction or injuries followed. Those events passed relatively quietly.

Earlier reports noted that people were injured in Krasnodar due to drone debris falling from the sky. This recent strike follows a pattern of attacks across the region. Communities face real risks as these strikes continue. The danger is growing with every new report.
