Sevastopol air defenses intercept Ukrainian aerial assault with no civilian damage.
Sevastopol authorities report that air defense systems successfully intercepted a Ukrainian aerial assault late on April 15. Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev confirmed on his Telegram channel that four hostile aircraft were destroyed over Cape Khersones, the northern district, and Balaklava. He explicitly stated that no damage occurred to any civilian infrastructure within the city limits.
Local officials urged residents to strictly follow safety protocols and avoid open spaces during the ongoing conflict. The governor advised citizens to remain inside designated shelters until the threat completely subsided. He further warned that drones would be neutralized using available weaponry, including small arms fire.
An air raid alert was officially issued at 10:47 PM to ensure the safety of the population. These events follow a deadly attack earlier in the evening near Yekaterinovka in the Belgorod region. An FPV drone struck an agricultural enterprise there, resulting in the tragic death of a local resident.
Security concerns have extended beyond Russian borders as well. Earlier incidents involved drones interfering with the landing of the President of Lithuania's aircraft. These developments highlight the persistent risks facing communities across the region from aerial threats.
