A scientist claims he has cracked the code philosophers and theologians chased for centuries: proof that God exists. Dr Nathanael-Israel Israel says his mathematical formula confirms the Bible was right all along. He believes this discovery shows the biblical account of creation happened exactly as written in Genesis.

Using equations built on orbital speeds, vast distances in space, and the physics of turbulence, Dr Israel calculated specific timelines for Earth's formation. His math suggested the planet formed in 2.82 days. The sun and moon followed shortly after. He stated these figures mirrored the timeline found in scripture with uncanny precision.

Israel clarified his separate calculations further. His formula produced a figure of 3.32 days for the moon and 3.69 days for the sun. Both celestial bodies, he argued, completed their creation on the fourth day according to this new framework. Because no other major religion offers such a specific sequence of events, he insists his work points directly to the Christian God.

"People say you can't prove God," Dr Israel told the Daily Mail. "But the question is, 'How can you prove God?' I'm the first person in history to offer this mathematical framework." He insisted the formula was simple enough for schoolchildren to run using public NASA data. The measurements fed into his equations included sizes and speeds of celestial bodies plus distances between them. NASA focused specifically on Earth, the moon, and the sun.

However, independent verification remains absent. The wider scientific community has not accepted these conclusions. Using official NASA measurements does not validate the assumptions behind his formula. Mainstream astronomy holds that the sun formed before Earth over billions of years. This sharply conflicts with Israel's claim that the planet completed in less than three days and before the sun.

He says the findings overturn the idea that faith and science are incompatible forces. After more than a decade developing this theory, Dr Israel believes he finally produced scientific evidence for God's existence. He laid out his ideas in his self-published book, Boldest Scientific Formula of God and Creation. In it, he argues mathematics and physics can demonstrate the literal truth of Genesis.

Born and raised in Benin before moving to the US two decades ago, Israel never viewed science and religion as opposing forces. Instead, he spent 12 years examining scientific data. He compiled variables from astronomy, physics, and other disciplines to understand creation's mechanics. "When it comes to science, I know what I'm talking about," he said. "I'm not a preacher, I'm not a pastor, I'm not a novice who is just doing some pseudoscience.

It took me 12 years of hard work," he said. His numbers pointed to a startling conclusion: the Earth formed in just 2.82 days, while the sun and moon were finished in 3.69 days. These figures matched the timeline laid out in Genesis almost perfectly. Israel earned his PhD in Plant, Insect and Microbial Sciences with a focus on Plant Biology and Genetics from the University of Missouri. He also holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin and sits as a member of several scientific organizations in the US, including the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Chemical Society. "My PhD is in plant, insect and microbial science, so I'm a life scientist," he explained. "But I'm not afraid or shy to say I'm a Christian. I believe in God."

To reach this formula, Israel had to sift through hundreds of variables collected by scientists throughout the century. Some data came from the NASA website; others appeared on many other space and agency sites. Unlike many researchers who try to reconcile religion and science, he stated his work did not rely on traditional Creationist arguments. He dismissed efforts to prove the Bible by challenging evolution or debating the existence of dinosaurs. Those battles were unnecessary, he argued because mathematics offered a far stronger foundation. At the heart of his theory was what he described as a simple formula rooted in orbital mechanics and turbulence. "The formula is based on the orbit and the orbital speed of the Earth," he explained.

Using publicly available measurements, including the Earth's distance from the sun and its speed through space, Israel said he could calculate how long it took the planet to reach its current position. To produce the figure of 2.82 days, he divided the distance between the Earth and sun by the sun's escape velocity. He then added the time obtained by dividing the Earth's circumference by its orbital speed. The values used were an Earth-sun distance of 149.6 million kilometers and a solar escape velocity of 617.6 kilometers per second. He calculated the Earth's circumference using its radius of 3,963 miles, multiplying that figure by two and pi, then divided the result by the planet's orbital speed of 18.5 miles per second. Written as a single calculation, his formula is: (149,600,000 km ÷ 617.6 km/s) + ([2 × π × 6,378.14 km] ÷ 29.78 km/s) = approximately 243,530 seconds, or 2.82 days.

Those calculations, he claimed, revealed that the Earth formed in 2.82 days. That timeline aligns with the Book of Genesis, which says: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." The same framework suggested that the sun and moon were completed in 3.69 days, corresponding to the fourth day in the biblical account. Israel said he applied the same basic formula to the moon and sun, producing formation times of 3.32 days and 3.69 days, respectively. He did not provide the full calculations for those two figures, saying they are detailed in his book. "The simple formula I discussed and discovered was able to help me also to explain the variation of life and chemicals and to scientifically prove that what the Bible has been saying for 3400 years, Jesus is correct," Israel said.

When asked why dividing distance by speed should represent the time required for creation, Israel pointed to the apparent alignment between his results and the Genesis chronology. He said his formula showed that the Earth's formation was completed in 2.82 days, placing it on the third day, while the moon and sun were completed in 3.32 and 3.69 days, placing both on the fourth day. Israel argued that this sequence matched Genesis 1:1–19, which describes the Earth before the appearance of the two lights in the sky.

Dr. Israel claims his math proves a specific sequence for our solar system, yet this view lacks official scientific acceptance. His numbers come from a bigger idea about how the universe started. He says everything began as one huge lump he calls the Turbulent Prima Materia. This original mass broke apart using fluid forces and turbulence until it made the things that would become our sun and its orbiting planets. Pieces of this material escaped the giant sun precursor to form Earth, the moon, and other objects in their current spots. His formula tries to rebuild that event by looking at how far apart celestial bodies sit today, how fast they needed to move to break away from a parent mass, and what kind of orbits they show now. The massive size of that original sun body meant our star formed after Earth and the moon took shape. You see, so that is the bottom line of my discovery. Israel insists his approach differs from every other scientific method trying to prove God or deny a creator exists. My framework is different than all other scientific frameworks that try to prove God, or deny God. It is not based on evolutionism but rather a simple outline explained in just a few pages. He thinks the impact of this work goes far beyond science and might shake up beliefs among skeptics and Christians alike. According to Israel, many believers have searched for proof in the wrong places. Instead of looking at fossils or fighting established theories, he argues the answer lies in mathematics. He further contends his calculations point directly to the Christian God because only the Bible gave us a clear chronological story of creation.
