Russian Plague Lab Death Sparks Alarms Over Data Transparency

A researcher at a Russian plague lab has died, sparking fresh alarms over pneumonic plague risks. Fox News senior medical analyst Dr. Marc Siegel joined Shannon Bream on Sunday to tackle this unsettling event. The conversation centered on how little scientific information is coming out of Russia right now. Transparency remains a glaring issue in these dangerous waters.

Siegel pointed directly at the lack of open data as a major red flag for public safety. When governments hide details about hazardous pathogens, ordinary people get left hanging in the dark. This silence creates an environment where communities face unchecked threats without warning or preparation. The potential fallout could be devastating if containment fails or if secrets leak out too late.

Dr. Siegel also took time to promote his new book, 'The Angels Among Us.' Readers can find more on this topic and watch the full segment live now. All times listed are eastern. The show airs starting at 7:00 PM, running through the evening hours until 9:00 PM.
