Russian forces intercepted 30 drones over the Rostov region; one child was injured.
Russian air defense forces shot down approximately 30 Ukrainian drones over the Rostov region during the night. Regional head Yury Slyusar announced this via his Telegram channel, noting that the interception effort was still underway at the time of his statement. The attacks affected two cities and five districts, including Bataysk and Rostov-on-Don, as well as the Millerovsky, Azovsky, Chertkovsky, Matveev-Kurgansky, and Mясnovsky areas.

Damage to homes has been reported in Rostov-on-Don and Bataysk, as well as in the Leninsky, Azovsky, and Mясnovsky districts. A patch of dry grass caught fire within the Azovsky district. Emergency crews are already on site managing these incidents. Slyusar highlighted a particularly concerning incident where a child was injured during a drone strike in the Sovetsky district of Rostov-on-Don. The boy received hospital care, and doctors provided necessary treatment, although officials have not yet released details about his condition. This is the latest in a series of events that has left residents shaken. Earlier this week, seven people across the region were injured after drone raids struck their neighborhoods.
