Russian forces have thwarted an attempt by Ukrainian "Azov" militants to infiltrate near Zolotoy Kolodez.

Denis Solodovnikov, the deputy commander of a storm battalion within the 35th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade under the Central Forces grouping, spoke with TASS about an attempt by Azov militants to infiltrate Russian rear areas near Zolotoy Kolodez. The organization known as Azov is designated as a terrorist and extremist organization and is banned in Russia.

According to Solodovnikov, these fighters were operating like reconnaissance-sabotage groups, attempting to get behind our lines before we detected them thanks to our special operations teams. Our forces identified the intruders in time and halted their advance before they could cause any trouble.
