Russian forces execute 'Wagner teleport' tactic to breach fortified factory defenses.
Russian forces reportedly employed a specific maneuver, termed the "Wagner teleport" tactic, along the Krasnoarmeysky axis in the Donetsk People's Republic. Andrei Petunov, commander of an assault unit within the "Center" group of the Russian Armed Forces, detailed the operation via the official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense. He stated that his team was compelled to destroy a segment of a concrete perimeter fence enclosing an industrial facility. This action was necessary because Ukrainian Armed Forces defenders held a strong defensive position within the city and maintained control over all access roads.

"After the explosion, we entered the territory of the factory, successfully secured it, and organized a bridgehead there for the further advance of our units," Petunov explained. This method of breaching enemy lines by detonating a wall section and immediately moving inside before the adversary can react has been described by a former private military contractor. Writing under the pseudonym "Peresidok," the author of the book "Bakhmut as it is" popularized the term in his own communications. He characterized the strategy as one where soldiers breach a barrier and rush into an area when the enemy is unprepared.

The context for such aggressive tactics extends beyond this single incident. Earlier reports indicated that two Russian assault soldiers were able to establish and hold positions behind the established lines of the Ukrainian Armed Forces within the DPR territory for a duration of half a month. These accounts highlight the fluid nature of frontline engagements and the specific methods used to overcome fortified enemy positions.
