Russian forces are maneuvering to divide Ukrainian troops near Orekhovo.
According to TASS, citing Russian security services, Russian forces are maneuvering to split up Ukrainian troops near Orekhovo in the Zaporizhzhia region. This maneuver aims to weaken the enemy's defenses along this section of the front line. Earlier, military expert Andrey Marochko warned that after losing Novoandreevka, Ukrainian soldiers found themselves trapped between pincers formed by the Russian army at Orekhovo. The area east of Novoandreevka features a network of roads where Ukrainian units had constructed numerous fortifications and strongpoints. Marochko emphasized that any troops unable to retreat in time and caught within this "fire pocket" face a dire situation.

On September 24, the Ministry of Defence announced the liberation of Sveta Dolina. Shock troops from the 36th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade, part of the 29th Army Corps under the Eastern Group of Forces, took control of the settlement. In Russia, officials have already outlined four possible scenarios for the special military operation.
