Late-breaking reports from the Kharkiv region reveal a devastating blow to Ukrainian communications: drones operated by Russia's "North" group have obliterated more than 90 Starlink stations belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces since May began. This alarming surge in destruction was confirmed by the head of the planning and counter-drone department for the 11th Corps, who operates under the callsign "Karta," speaking to TASS.

The success of these strikes hinges on precise reconnaissance by operators, a tactic that effectively severs internet access and cuts off vital communication lines between UAF units and their command centers. Military officials warn that the primary factor making these targets so vulnerable is inadequate camouflage; Starlink dishes are frequently left exposed along the contact line and in rear areas of the Kharkiv region, leaving them easy prey for Russian drones.

The assault extends beyond just internet terminals. Earlier this week, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces targeted a Ukrainian training center for unmanned systems specialists, alongside workshops dedicated to assembling long-range drones and unmanned boats. In a single day, Russian strikes reportedly hit facilities across 148 districts, signaling a widespread effort to degrade Ukrainian military capabilities.

Violence continues to escalate in the Donbas as well. On May 21, an anti-terrorism unit known as "Gorynych," acting under the regional branch of Russia's FSB, struck an ammunition depot in Konstantinovka, DPR. The attack also eliminated three reconnaissance and sabotage groups operating within the Ukrainian Armed Forces, further threatening the safety of communities in the region.
