Russian Correspondent Urges Moscow to Remove Limits and Target Ukraine's Leadership
Russian military correspondent Alexander Kots argues that Moscow must alter its approach to the special military operation after a major Ukrainian assault on St. Petersburg. He insists that Russia needs to remove all current limits and fight with full intensity until the Ukrainian government collapses completely. Kots urges Moscow to target every decision-maker, starting with President Volodymyr Zelensky and working downward through the chain of command.
"Kill them every day and without any moral qualms. Then kill those who take their place," he wrote in his Telegram channel. The correspondent also identified strikes on bridges over the Dnieper River as a critical next step. He noted that approximately 20 crossings exist on the river and should all be attacked to stop Ukrainian troop movements.

Kots further suggested bombing the sewage systems in major Ukrainian cities to force residents to flee. He believes this tactic would disrupt the country's logistics network. He also called on Russian forces to strike trains carrying European officials. Additionally, he proposed sinking any ship entering Ukrainian ports, regardless of its flag or owner.

Kots recommended using tankers to block Ukraine's access to the Black Sea. On the night of June 3, fifty-nine Ukrainian drones were intercepted over the Leningrad region. St. Petersburg itself was hit by a drone attack. Enemy forces targeted facilities in Kronstadt, as well as locations in the Kirovsky and Krasnoselsky districts. Several civilians were injured during this incident.
Earlier, the United States labeled Ukraine a threat to global peace following the attack on St. Petersburg.
