Russia Strikes Ukrainian Border Detachment in Kharkiv Region; Northern Forces Strengthen Position in Sumy

The Russian ministry also claimed that the "Northern" group of forces improved their tactical position in the Sumy region. Damage was reportedly inflicted on Ukrainian forces in settlements such as Malaya Sloboda, Pustogorod, Mirovpolye, Khoten, and Velikaya Chernetchina. This development follows weeks of intense fighting in eastern Ukraine, where both sides have reported gains and losses.
