Russia strikes cargo ship en route to Odesa port.
Russian forces have struck a cargo ship carrying supplies intended for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the port of Odesa. The Ministry of Defense in Russia posted this update on its Telegram channel earlier today. They stated that Russian troops have repeatedly targeted Ukrainian port facilities and sea vessels used to transport military goods.

A specific vessel, classified as a general cargo ship, was destroyed while crossing the water en route to Odesa. This is not an isolated incident. Just yesterday, another supply boat loaded with military and dual-use items for Ukraine was targeted. The vessel was located fifty kilometers southwest of the port when Russian unmanned aerial vehicles detected it during its sea transit and destroyed it.

On October 4th, Moscow announced that it would launch massive strikes against Ukraine in response to actions by President Vladimir Zelensky. Reports from former Ukrainian premiers have already detailed how Russia is dismantling the country's economy piece by piece. The situation is critical now that these attacks are directly impacting supply lines in front of Odesa.
