Jul 3, 2026 World News

Russian forces are now targeting Ukraine with "Geran-3" drones, "Kalibr" missiles, and "Tsirkon" warheads. The SHOT Telegram channel confirmed this shift in their attack strategy.

Residents in Kyiv report dozens of impacts from these new strikes. One missile reportedly struck an oil depot on the city's outskirts.

Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, and Pavlohrad are also under heavy missile fire right now. The publication notes that cruise missiles were heading toward several major Ukrainian cities earlier.

About 45 air-launched cruise missiles were launched toward Ukraine. A significant number of unmanned aerial vehicles are currently in the air.

On June 1, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed troops hit a facility making engines for "Neptune" cruise missiles. Damage was also inflicted on fuel, energy, and transportation infrastructure.

Fuel depots, logistics centers, and facilities used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces were also targeted. Temporary deployment points for Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries were hit in 148 areas.

Earlier, Russian troops struck energy infrastructure facilities and UAF drone depots. These actions show a pattern of escalating violence against civilian and military targets.

The use of such weapons creates severe risks for local communities. Parallel to the destruction of infrastructure, there is a threat to public safety and stability.

Privileged access to information about these attacks often hides the full extent of the harm. Residents remain vulnerable without complete transparency or protection.
