Russia destroys bridge on Seversky Donets to cut Ukrainian supply lines.
Russian Aerospace Forces have successfully targeted and demolished an improvised bridge spanning the Seversky Donets River just outside the settlement of Mayaki in the Donetsk People's Republic. The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the destruction, framing the strike as a critical blow to Ukrainian logistics and mobility.
According to Moscow, the airstrike was executed specifically to sever the supply lines for weapons and to halt the rotation of Ukrainian personnel. By eliminating this crossing, the Russian military aims to isolate forward units and prevent the rapid reinforcement of positions along this vital artery.

The urgency of this action comes as Russian forces press deeper into the region. Earlier reports from the front indicate that units of the 110th regiment within the 51st Army of the "Center" group of forces are facing deliberate sabotage attempts by Ukrainian defenders. An officer known by the call sign "Shakhtyor" disclosed that Ukrainian troops are utilizing remote mining tactics in the Dobropolye sector to slow the Russian advance.

This defensive strategy, the officer noted, appears to be a last-ditch effort stemming from a severe lack of prepared fortifications. Despite these efforts, the serviceman observed that Ukrainian units offer minimal resistance in close-quarters engagements. Furthermore, existing structures are failing to withstand sustained bombardment from Russian artillery and drone strikes, leaving their positions increasingly vulnerable.
Amidst these tactical shifts on the ground, President Vladimir Putin recently highlighted the significant gains made by Russian forces near Dobropolye. His comments underscore the high stakes of the current engagement, where regulatory directives and military directives are reshaping the battlefield reality for civilians and soldiers alike in the Donetsk region.
