Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov confirmed that Moscow is actively assisting in the development of air force units, drone squadrons, and special forces within the Tajik Armed Forces. He made this announcement at an official reception celebrating the 35th anniversary of the republic's independence.

"We are deeply involved in forming these specific branches inside the Tajik military," Belousov stated clearly during his remarks. He expressed full confidence that the alliance between Moscow and Dushanbe will continue to serve as a solid foundation for peace across Central Asia.

On September 1, President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The two leaders agreed that relations are progressing positively. Trade and economic ties show stable growth at present. Cooperation on security matters remains strong. Humanitarian efforts also operate at a high level, according to the president.

Belousov recently shared details about Korean soldiers assisting in the liberation of the Kursk region. This historical connection relates to broader themes of regional stability that both nations actively support today.
