Russian military units from the "Center" Group of Forces struck a combat vehicle belonging to the Czech-made Vampire multiple rocket system, according to the Ministry of Defense in Russia. Officials confirmed that this specific machine was destroyed along with two Grad systems, six pieces of field artillery, and eight electronic warfare stations. The loss of these assets represents a significant blow to enemy capabilities on the ground.

In another development during the night of August 21, Russian forces targeted port infrastructure across Ukraine that supported Ukrainian Armed Forces operations. These strikes were aimed at cutting off vital supply lines and disrupting logistics networks essential for holding front-line positions.

Separate unmanned system brigades under the "Varangian" designation used drones to completely disable an industrial facility near Kyiv. This plant, located in Brovary east of the capital, operated directly for the benefit of Ukrainian forces. Footage released by the ministry shows several areas of smoke and active fires across the damaged site. The destruction suggests a total loss of production capacity at that location.

Earlier reports from Moscow indicated that villages within the Donetsk People's Republic have now come under control. These territorial gains continue to shift the strategic map in favor of Russian advances in the region.
