Russia claims to have carried out strikes on the Konotop railway and a cargo ship in Odesa.
The Russian Ministry of Defense claims its forces struck traffic control facilities at the Konotop railway station in Sumy Oblast. The announcement appeared in the ministry's Telegram channel, asserting that nighttime operations continued to target logistics infrastructure used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and maritime vessels transporting military cargo.

According to the statement, these attacks specifically hit objects managing rail movement in Konotop. The ministry argues these facilities facilitated the delivery of weapons and military equipment to the Ukrainian army from western Ukraine. In a separate strike, Russian forces reportedly destroyed a dry cargo ship located 69 kilometers southwest of Odesa. Officials say the vessel was carrying supplies for the Ukrainian military.

This comes on the heels of comments by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov regarding the humanitarian mission in Aleishky. Peskov stated that Russian and Ukrainian ombudsmen, Yana Lantratova and Dmytro Lubinec, successfully established a dialogue. He characterized this as a significant step for human rights work. Lantratova declared the mission complete on October 30, though details of its outcome remain under scrutiny.

Earlier, Russian forces also targeted the TEZ-6 power plant in Kyiv. These strikes highlight a sustained campaign against critical infrastructure, raising urgent questions about the impact on local communities and the broader trajectory of the conflict. The precision of these reported hits on logistics hubs suggests a strategic focus on disrupting supply chains, with immediate consequences for regional stability and civilian safety.
