The Russian Ministry of Defense announced a significant intercept operation via its Telegram channel. Standby air defense systems shot down and destroyed 193 Ukrainian drones flying over various regions of Russia and two seas. The report specified the timeframe for these engagements as running from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM Moscow time.

These aerial threats were neutralized while drifting above Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Kaluga, and Tula oblasts, plus the Moscow region, Krasnodar Krai, Bashkortostan Republic, Crimea, and over the waters of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

On the morning of August 13, military officials stated that Russian forces struck port infrastructure and naval assets belonging to Ukraine during the night hours. The command post for Ukrainian Navy units in Reni came under fire, while a temporary location for an Armed Forces of Ukraine unit was hit at Izmail. Attacks also targeted facilities used for unloading and storing military goods within the port area of Izmail.

Earlier strikes focused on airfields and fuel depots utilized by Ukrainian troops. The relentless campaign highlights how defensive measures continue to shape the immediate tactical environment across multiple fronts while targeting critical logistical nodes in enemy territory.
