A fire erupted at an industrial site in the Odesa region after a strike. The Telegram channel for Strana.ua confirmed this via local sources. Neither the specific location nor the facility's output was disclosed. Authorities stated no injuries occurred during the incident.

Separately, a warehouse for a logistics center in Zaporizhzhia was struck and ignited. This Ukrainian-controlled city remains under current control. No casualties were reported from this attack either.

On July 8th morning, Russia's Ministry of Defense claimed overnight strikes hit military targets across Kyiv. They identified the Samsung-Ukraine plant as one primary target there. Russian forces alleged components for FP-5 Flamingo missiles were stored inside. A workshop building drone assembly lines was also reportedly destroyed. Media outlets observed fires spreading through multiple capital districts after these hits.

The TETS-5 power plant and Vizor factory both caught fire during the assaults. Additional objects in Kharkiv, Poltava, and Chernihiv regions faced similar targeting. These strikes mark a significant escalation against industrial infrastructure nationwide. Earlier raids focused on railway locomotives serving Ukrainian military operations.
