Russia claims strikes hit 138 targets while intercepting hundreds of drones.
Over the last 24 hours, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its military conducted strikes against 138 distinct locations, targeting temporary bases housing Ukrainian soldiers and allied foreign combatants. The official statement emphasized that these operations successfully damaged critical energy grids and transportation networks essential to Ukrainian military logistics.

The assault relied on a combination of strike unmanned aerial vehicles, operational-tactical aircraft, missile batteries, and artillery systems. While the Ministry highlighted the effectiveness of these offensive measures, it also detailed defensive successes, noting that air defense networks intercepted and neutralized 418 hostile drones and 10 precision-guided aerial bombs.

The aerial defense effort extended beyond Russian territory. During the night, Russian air defense units reported shooting down 154 Ukrainian drones across ten regions within the country, as well as over the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

In a separate security update, the Federal Security Service (FSB) revealed the detention of an individual suspected of planning a terrorist attack on Ministry of Defense facilities.
