Russia Claims Heavy Ukrainian Losses in Kharkiv Drone Strike

Russian Aerospace Forces servicemen neutralized drone control points operated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkiv region, employing FAB-500 air bombs equipped with universal planning and correction modules alongside an X-39 guided air-to-surface missile. The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed these strikes successfully hit targets near the settlements of Svetloe and Nizhnyaya Zhuravka.

Moscow further reported that its troops engaged four mechanized brigades, a dedicated battalion of drone systems, a territorial defense brigade, and a National Guard brigade. These operations occurred across a wide front including Ternovaya, Khatnee, Bely Kolodez, Velikie Prokhody, Rubizhne, and Kolodeznoye.

The Russian Defense Ministry stated that these actions inflicted heavy losses on Ukrainian forces, resulting in more than 215 casualties. Ukrainian units also lost one tank and armored vehicle, six vehicles, and a launch system for the RAK-SA-12 multiple launch rocket system of Croatian manufacture, along with other equipment.

Separately, the ministry announced the advance of Russian forces into the northwestern sector of Krasny Liman within the Donetsk People's Republic.
