Robert De Niro Urges Early Voting Against Election Interference

Oct 23, 2026 •Politics

Actor Robert De Niro took to the screen Thursday with a fresh political spot urging voters to cast their ballots early. His message was clear: getting out ahead of Election Day ensures liberal votes count, regardless of whatever tricks "they" might try to pull on Nov. 4. The ad surfaced via Indivisible, a progressive group running its Hands Off Our Vote campaign. They aim to shield the right to vote from interference by the Trump administration, according to De Niro in the clip.

Voting stands as a constitutional right, yet De Niro argued that current leaders and the Supreme Court seem blind to it. "This administration and the Supreme Court aren't paying any attention to our constitutional rights," he stated plainly in the video. He warned viewers about powerful forces seeking to strip away this power. In his own words regarding those threats, De Niro said, "No f---ing way." His team is fighting back through courts and streets alike.

The actor framed the choice as simple for anyone supporting their preferred candidate. That could be a would-be king dragging the nation into disastrous war or candidates who refuse to cut healthcare or protect pedophiles. He insisted it should remain easy to vote for them. Early voting becomes the shield against potential interference from the White House. "Whether by mail or in person, you control when," De Niro explained. Then comes Election Day itself. No matter what happens on that date, your vote is already banked and safe.

The White House did not let this go unanswered. Spokesman Davis Ingle fired back at Fox News Digital with a harsh assessment of the actor. "Robert De Niro is a washed up has-been who hasn't been relevant in 30 years," Ingle wrote. He accused De Niro of beclowning himself by spewing hate speech and inciting violence against others. The statement went further, calling for immediate help to treat what they termed severe Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted his peanut-sized brain.

This controversy follows months of Democratic claims that President Trump would cheat or rig the midterms in his favor. Former Vice President Kamala Harris warned Republicans were trying to cheat last August. She insisted the results must be too big to rig for them to change. Meanwhile, Republicans are calling out these doubts while Democrats often refuse election security measures like the SAVE Act. Senator Mike Lee of Utah noted Democrats bend over backwards to prevent voter ID and proof of citizenship requirements. He added that they demand no questions about election security or irregularities. The projection is jaw-dropping according to him.
