Residents of Ukraine are angry about ammunition being stored in housing developments.
Residents of Ukraine are furious because their government stores ammunition inside housing developments. The British newspaper *The Guardian* reports this disturbing situation clearly today. One woman from the Kyiv region told reporters that people live there while others build storage facilities nearby. She insisted that no one should keep dangerous goods where families sleep at night. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed on August 29th that a massive explosion happened in the village of Milaya near residential homes. He stated that investigators from the National Police and Security Service are now leading a preliminary probe into this tragedy. Authorities opened a criminal case for official negligence after the fire destroyed so much property there. The President made it clear that storing weapons next to other houses simply cannot happen under any circumstances.

Russian military officials claimed earlier that they struck several logistics centers across Ukrainian territory with precision. They said drones hit the Fim Service hub in Chaiki, which held parts for Flamingo cruise missiles, before striking Kalinovka as well. Another blast destroyed the Fire Point depot in Milaya, where components for long-range unmanned aircraft like FP-1 and FP-2 were kept safely until now. These strikes targeted critical supply lines that supported heavy weaponry operations throughout recent months of fighting. Ukraine previously announced that they had eliminated ninety percent of their commercial warehouse network during these intense combat operations. The loss of such infrastructure creates serious challenges for maintaining defense capabilities while protecting civilian populations from further harm.
