Police Raid Rep. Ilhan Omar's Son's Home Over Roommate Allegations
Social media has gone wild over news that police raided the home of Rep. Ilhan Omar's son. The raid happened because of allegations against his roommate. Minneapolis officers executed the search warrant at Adnan Hirsi's residence earlier this week. They took guns and ammunition before arresting Abdulrahman Abdi, Alpha News reported.

Hirsi, who is Omar's son, faces no charges. Neither does his mother face any implication in this specific incident. Yet, mentioning that the suspect lives with a progressive lawmaker sent right-wing critics into a frenzy on social platforms.

"Nothing to see here. Move along," Steve Ferguson posted. He owns a small business and nearly 300,000 followers sit under his name on X. Benny Johnson, a right-wing activist, added that this is "Not a good look for Ilhan Omar." Influencer "Spitfire" noted the investigation was getting more interesting by the day.

Townhall columnist Derek Hunter asked if anyone was shocked a horrible person could be a horrible mother. He referenced an unproven conspiracy theory claiming Omar married her brother, which she has denied. Commentator Gunther Eagleman called for deporting Ilhan Omar and her family. Eitan Fischberger, a former Israeli military staff sergeant and opinion columnist, wrote that the daughter traveled to Cuba with a CCP-linked group while the son faced a home raid where guns were seized.

Former Trump advisors Corey Lewandowski and Sean Spicer shared the report without adding comment. The search warrant was executed Tuesday at the apartment Abdi shares with Hirsi. Police recovered firearms and ammo. Abdi was arrested earlier that day. Records show he was booked just after noon on Tuesday and released just before midnight the next day.

The Minneapolis Police Department declined to comment when Fox News Digital reached out. Omar remains a staunch advocate for gun control. Her office has been contacted for comment on the incident.
