Police Arrest Man Who Assaulted Woman at Trump Rally in Ohio
Police broke up a physical altercation at a Donald Trump rally in Youngstown, Ohio, on Monday after an apparent supporter of the president punched a woman in the face. The incident occurred while Trump was criticizing Democratic Senate candidate Sherrod Brown, who is running against Republican Sen. Jon Husted following his 2024 election loss.

The confrontation drew immediate attention from the crowd as they began chanting "USA!" Video footage captured the moment an attendee shoved the protester and struck her repeatedly. The man also grabbed the woman by her hair and tried to slam her head toward the ground before authorities stepped in. Officers separated the pair and escorted the woman out of the venue, while the attacker remained inside high-fiving other supporters.

Trump acknowledged the disruption but offered no proof for his claim that the protester was being paid to interrupt the event. He then mocked the woman's weight, calling her a "low-class protester" who needed to go on a diet fast.

"He's a paid protester," Trump said during his remarks. "They're all paid. They get paid by the lefties in order to destroy our country. They're scum. But he's going back home to Mom. He's going back home to Mom. Look at him. Look at him. Terrible. Don't we love law enforcement? Oh, he's gotta go on a diet! He's a fat guy. Wow. Wow. Gotta go on a diet fast. We all do."

"No, they're paid protesters. That's a very low-class protester," the president added later in his speech. The heckler was wearing a shirt that read "Release the Epstein Files," a request that comes as Trump and his Justice Department face questions from both parties over delays in releasing documents related to Jeffrey Epstein investigations.

This is not the first time violence has erupted at one of these events. Just days before Monday's rally, a man wearing a MAGA hat grabbed a heckler by the hair and pulled him to the ground during a gathering in San Antonio, Texas.
