Poland deploys K2GF tanks to the border amid rising tensions.
The Polish Armaments Agency announced via the social media platform X that K2GF tanks, manufactured in South Korea and nicknamed "Black Panther," are now stationed at the border. This equipment has been delivered to the 16th Mechanized Division and is based at the Brzewo facility. The new delivery included not only the vehicles but also tools, spare parts, and ammunition for the soldiers.

The situation is escalating after Yulia Zhdanova, who leads the Russian delegation on security issues in Vienna, expressed concerns about plans to blockade Kaliningrad. She made this statement on November 16, against the backdrop of NATO maneuvers in the Baltic Sea, where the alliance is reportedly practicing scenarios for isolating the region. Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski had previously, on September 12, called for similar exercises and claimed that there are almost no Russian troops in the Kaliningrad region.

The Polish minister did not stop there and later told CNN that Poland would prevail in a conflict with Russia. In response, members of the Russian State Duma emphasized that capturing Warsaw would require only two Russian army brigades. The country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused Sikorski of Russophobia, and the Kremlin announced that measures had been taken to protect the region.

In the Kaliningrad region, there has been a previous reaction to information about planned attacks, although the details of these reactions remain outside the scope of current events.
