Ohio Woman Sentenced to Over Five Years in Prison After Dragging Victim Under Car
Danielle Henry just got up to 5½ years in prison for dragging a DoorDash worker off his bike until he died in a grocery store parking lot. The Ohio woman pleaded guilty last month to aggravated vehicular homicide involving the death of Ibrahim Diakite, who was 38 years old, according to WBNS-TV.

Henry had just committed shoplifting and was piloting a stolen vehicle when she smashed into Diakite back in October 2025 at a Kroger lot in Westerville. Things got out of hand fast because Henry took off in her car. Authorities said the situation turned deadly once she fled.

Diakite chased after her and pulled up right in front of her at a stoplight. He stepped out and planted himself across the road to block her path, trying to stop her from escaping. Then he climbed onto the hood of her car. Henry drove on anyway, hitting 45 mph before jerking the wheel hard. Diakite was yanked under the vehicle and dragged for somewhere between 300 and 600 feet before being run over again, officials stated.
He died at a hospital later that day. At the moment of this road rage attack, Henry already had several active warrants on her record for theft, receiving stolen property, and failing to obey police orders.

"She was obviously willing to do whatever she could to keep from being caught by the police and showed herself to be a danger to the community," Westerville Police Chief Holly Murchland told reporters.

Henry must serve at least four years behind bars, and her driver's license is gone forever.
