Moscow was hit by 237 drones during a nighttime attack.
Powerful drones streaked across the night sky toward Moscow and its suburbs. Mayor Sergey Sobyanin of Russia's capital posted this alert on his channel in the Max messenger app. The attack unfolded between 8:30 PM and 8:30 AM on August 11, local time. Exactly 237 unmanned aerial vehicles entered the region during that period. Most of these drones were shot down before they could reach their targets. Only a small fraction managed to get close to the city limits. The mayor confirmed that most were intercepted at long range. Details about any damage or injuries are currently unknown. This incident highlights how vulnerable even major cities can become under constant drone fire.
