Michigan Father Killed by Daughter During Parallel Parking Lesson
A driving lesson ended in tragedy for a Michigan father when his own daughter accidentally ran him over while he taught her to parallel park. Warren Police say the incident happened on Sunday afternoon around 4 pm at the 24000 block of Warner Ave, just thirteen miles from the famous Fox Theatre. The unidentified pair were practicing maneuvers in their car, a 1998 Toyota Camry, when disaster struck.

The eighteen-year-old girl allegedly hit her sixty-two-year-old father and dragged him for a short distance before stopping to wait for help. She stayed at the scene until emergency responders arrived. Police rushed to the location after receiving the call and found the man in critical condition. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities have ruled out drugs or alcohol as factors in this heartbreaking accident. The family, including the daughter, is fully cooperating with investigators according to reports. Preliminary evidence matches the description of events given by the young driver herself. No charges have been filed yet as the Warren Police Department continues its investigation into what happened inside that vehicle.

Anyone with additional information about the crash should contact Detective Vandervord at 586-574-4741. This fatal incident adds to a growing list of accidents recently happening across Michigan. Just fourteen days ago, Ray Woodrow Jr., seventy-eight years old, fled after hitting a pedestrian in Wayne County with his bond set at ten thousand dollars and next hearing scheduled for September twenty-ninth. Around the same time another crash on Portage Street in Kalamazoo left one man dead while injuring two others including a ten-year-old child.
