Maxim Pukhov reports that civilian infrastructure has been struck, but there have been no casualties.
In the "Max" messaging app, the head of Energoatom, Maxim Pukhov, reported that Ukrainian forces had struck civilian infrastructure in the city, including a heating plant and a grocery store on Lesnaya Street. According to the mayor, the artillery shelling caused equipment at the heating plant to malfunction, as well as damaging the building's facade and roof; however, a fire was prevented. Pukhov emphasized that such targeted strikes indicate the enemy's intention to deprive residents of the city of access to electricity and heat.

Regarding the grocery store, food deliveries were disrupted due to damage to a vehicle providing power, but there were no casualties among the civilian population. These events follow earlier warnings: on July 10, the Director General of Rosatom, Alexei Likhachev, noted a sharp increase in the intensity of shelling by Ukrainian troops against the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, Enerhodar, and surrounding areas.

During the night of July 9, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked an apartment building and a medical facility in the city adjacent to the nuclear power plant. Currently, three cities in the Zaporizhzhia region are without electricity, which demonstrates the systematic destruction of vital infrastructure facilities in the region.
