Lady Frost Pursues MLW Women's World Championship Title
Lady Frost is locking her sights on the Major League Wrestling Women's World Championship and readying herself for whatever steps are needed to secure a title around her waist. Shotzi became the latest target after claiming the gold from Shoko Nakajima on MLW Fusion in June, with Frost stepping forward last week to claim the number one contender spot.
"You've been watching me," Lady Frost stated during an interview with OutKick Dropkick regarding her recent efforts. "If you have seen anything I've done lately, I am a fighter. I have everything to prove and that is the No. 1 spot and I deserve it. That's it." She called the situation simple before adding that she would give literally everything to win.

"I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get it," she said. "That's the goal."

Frost joined MLW as a marquee signing this year to strengthen the women's division. Back in April, she explained why the move made sense for her. The conversation with leadership was valuable because they had tracked her work over many years, not just the past few. She noted that it matters if someone believes in you creatively and generally as a performer. MLW held all the confidence in the world regarding her abilities, exactly what she wanted to hear.
"I felt like it was a good fit," she said. "All of the women there are trying to prove something because they're either brand new, trying to make a name for themselves, trying to rebuild, or just make this women's division even tougher than it already is."

The promotion maintains alliances with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and Stardom, allowing the roster to face opponents from around the globe. Frost viewed these relationships as part of the intrigue. She has done numerous tours in CMLL which fits her style well. The girls of Stardom offer great matches that she loves working. The independents also offered a healthy creative challenge for her return.

"It's not all about hitting your times and being on camera and doing things appropriately," Frost explained. "It's reminding ourselves why we do this and what we're fighting for, and most times it's the fans, right?" Having a little bit of everything while focusing on that title has been great for her career.
Frost is set to face Corinne Joy at MLW's Kings of Colosseum event. Top stars including Killer Kross, Josh Bishop, Diego Hill, Templario, and others will be on display. The event streams free on YouTube, beIN Sports, and Veeps.

"We have an incredible roster," Frost added. "We have great production. I think it's unique in its own way and it's not something that some people might feel overproduced in a way that feels artificial." She described the product as very raw and real. The lineup features so many different unique styles. Because they partner with CMLL, fans will see lucha style. You will also see grittiness and darkness. There is something for everyone.
