Keegan Allen Struck With Gun During West Hollywood Robbery

Oct 10, 2026 •Crime

Pretty Little Liars actor Keegan Allen walked away from a brutal robbery in West Hollywood with blood still running down his face, according to law enforcement officials. Deputies arrived on the scene around 9:05pm on Thursday, October 8, at the address in the 8400 block of Santa Monica Boulevard. They spoke immediately with Allen after he reported being cornered by two men dressed entirely in black, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office confirmed to Fox News Digital.

One suspect held a silver handgun while the other brandished a knife, demanding the actor's watch and bracelet. The sheriff's office released this specific detail in their official statement regarding the confrontation outside Laurel Supply, a luxury grocery store often visited by locals. Allen was then struck directly in the face with that same handgun before the pair fled the area in a vehicle.

The victim suffered a laceration to his forehead but did not require transport to a hospital. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded quickly and evaluated him at the scene, determining he could walk away safely. Despite surviving the attack, Allen later posted graphic video footage on Instagram showing blood streaming down his skin and soaking into his clothes as he recounted what happened to reporters.

In the video, the masked men threatened to kill him over a simple watch, leaving the actor grateful that God intervened just in time. West Hollywood is not safe anymore, Allen wrote in his caption describing the terrifying ordeal where two young men would have taken his life for a piece of jewelry if divine intervention had not stopped them. He also shared surveillance footage that seemed to capture the suspects confronting him right outside the store doors.

Allen took aim at the reliance on flock cameras to stop crime, mentioning both Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Governor Gavin Newsom in his social media post. Will these very dangerous criminals ever be caught by all those cameras everyone thinks will solve everything? He ended his message with a prayer for God's blessing as he awaited further updates from investigators.

Karen Bass' office issued a statement calling the incident egregious, noting that no one should have to endure such a nightmare. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is leading this investigation while the LAPD assists regional partners to ensure bad actors are held accountable. This crime happened in West Hollywood, which operates as an independent city rather than part of the main police jurisdiction.

Fox News Digital has reached out to Allen and Governor Newsom for additional comment on the developing story. Keegan Allen first gained fame playing Toby Cavanaugh on Pretty Little Liars from 2010 through 2017 before moving on to other roles like Liam Walker on Walker between 2021 and 2024. He most recently appeared on The Rookie in 2026, adding another chapter to his diverse acting career.
